Greetings from Lyon!

By outolumo

Our trip to Lyon went splendidly: lots of sightseeing and geocaching. We were hosted and guided by Miina’s friend Esa who had just finished his studies.

Our first cache near river Saône; Tuomas logging a cache near Cathedral St. Jean.

The buildings in Lyon are unlike anywhere else we’ve seen: there are painted walls everywhere! Here are some:

Lyon has a long history, and Roman ruins can be seen in- and outside of the city. Here are some parts of Aqueduc de Gier about 10 km south from Lyon:

A leisure park, Parc de la tête d’or, kept us busy for half a day: a botanical garden with greenhouses, a rose garden, a lake and across the street a modern suburb, Cité International.
